FAQs

What is MIPS?

MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System. It's designed to help reduce rotational forces transmitted to the head during certain angled impacts.

What is KOROYD®?

KOROYD® is a lightweight structure designed to absorb impact energy while allowing airflow through the material.

Does the Smith Method have an adjustable dial?

No. The standard Method uses a self-adjusting Lifestyle Fit System. If you'd prefer a micro-adjustable dial, consider the Method Pro MIPS.

Can I wear audio headphones with this helmet?

The removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads are audio-chip compatible. Compatible audio chips are sold separately.

Does it work with Smith goggles?

Yes. It's designed to integrate with Smith goggles, and the AirEvac system helps move warm air away from the goggle lens.
