Join our Wobble Team!

Wobble has a new independent space in Sneinton Market bringing together snowboarding, skateboarding, streetwear and community.

We're opening our doors on 26th September and we're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and switched-on person to join us from the very beginning.

This isn't a traditional retail role. We want Wobble to be somewhere people enjoy visiting, hanging out and coming back to, whether they're picking up a new deck, getting ready for their next snow trip or just popping in to see what's happening.

As one of the faces of Wobble, you'll play an important part in creating that atmosphere.

The role

As our Retail & Community Host, you'll be involved in the day-to-day running of Wobble and helping create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone who walks through the door.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming and helping customers
• Selling and advising on our snow, skate and streetwear products
• Getting to know our customers and helping build a regular community around Wobble
• Receiving, organising and merchandising stock
• Keeping the shop looking great and running smoothly
• Supporting events, collaborations and community activity
• Helping us create a positive, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of an independent and growing business
• Making Coffee for customers, full Barista training will be given 

No two days will necessarily look the same, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a small team where everyone gets involved.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, social and confident talking to people
• Enthusiastic and positive
• Reliable and responsible
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
• Genuinely passionate about board sports and the culture around them
• Interested in snowboarding, skateboarding, streetwear or related communities
• Happy working in a fast-moving independent business where things can change and develop quickly
• Available for weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays

You don't need to be an expert in every area we sell. We're looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, who can bring their own interests, knowledge and personality to Wobble.

Experience in retail is helpful, but personality, attitude and a genuine connection to what we're building are just as important to us.

We're looking for someone who is excited about joining us at the beginning and becoming part of the journey as the business grows.

For the right person, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, additional hours and progression as Wobble develops.

Weekend availability: Regular Saturdays and Sundays are essential
